The Malay wedding ceremony in full swing.
As part of the OzAsia festival we explored the various traditions associated with weddings in Malaysia.
With three weddings, Chinese, Indian and Malay, visitors experienced a colourful and festive treat. There were dance demonstrations, delicious food, craft and more. Another highlight was cooking demonstrations by Poh Ling Yeow (from ABC TV’s Poh’s Kitchen) and some of her friends from the Aviary dessert kitchen.
