The fuel economy Top Gear Challenge

According to the internet, a Yaris sedan does 6.7L/100km, which means on a 42L tank it should have a range of 627km. Probably not a great idea to try Armadale to Esperance (680km) on one tank then.
We were sweating it on the last 60km when the fuel light was blinking like mad. We tail-gaited a roadtrain to try and get pulled along for a little more economy.
In the end we managed 5.7L/100km, and got there with around 2L left in the tank!
