eCYBERMISSION 2012 National Awards Ceremony

The 2012 eCYBERMISSION competition came to a close at the National Conference Center in Leesburg, Virginia with the announcement of the winners. For the sixth grade level, the "Sun Sensors" team from Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey took top honors. The "Dust Bunnies" from Whiteface, Texas were the winners for the 7th grade teams. The 8th grade winners were "Innovations in Autism" from Fort Wayne, Indiana and winning at the 9th grade level were the "Wound Warriors" from Whiteface, Texas.
The eCYBERMISSION event hosted 16 finalist teams composed of 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade students from around the nation. Each team presented projects where they used science, technology, engineering and mathematics to solve problems from their own local communities.
